Comments : I’m fan of the driver and in Brazil he is a nation hero, in Japan, is almost a God. I prepared this cosplay with help of another Senna fan that had done a cosplay for him. I had seen a TV reportage about cosplay/otaku and for some seconds I saw a boy like Ayrton Senna. Then I searched and I found him. He made the overalls, the helmet is a motorcycle one, I knew a street artist and he painted my helmet, while I knew a sticker company near my house and they did the logos. It was done quickly because in some days I’d stay in São Paulo for Anime Friend in 2010, the biggest brazilian animecon. The cosplay was a great success, many peoples stopped me to take pics and some told me stories about when watched the “Senna’s F1”. And I went to the cemetery, where he is, using the cosplay and I let some messages of some friends I have in the world, beyond going to the Interlagos, the F1 Brazilian Grand Prix track, both using the cosplay.
In 2011, Finally I did a simple presentation in Anime Friends’ stage, my dream. At the same year, I went Festival do Japão (Japan Festival) in Rio and São Paulo, where in SP some japaneses took pics of me and I participed like special invited for Brazilian WCS (World Cosplay Summit) with some brazilian cosplayers that were world champions. In Rio, I did a presentation with the brazilian audio of his victory in 1988 Japan Grand Prix that gave him his first world championship.
