A Little About Me
Hi there! My name is Kerstin, also known as blackbutterfly. I am really happy that so many kind people liked my picture and voted for me so that I can join the finals now! Thank you so so sooo much!
I always put a lot of effort in my costumes and spend a lot of time, nerves and money during sewing them. Your votes support me a lot and give me motivation to do even better costumes in the future and to develop my skills!
Cosplay is a very precious thing for me. I learned so much since I started my hobby! Not only sewing, but techniques for better make up, wig styling, prop building, posing, photographing and digital image processing. I met so many kind people all over the world so far and made so many friends! I definitely don’t want to miss anything of these precious experiences! …Even if Cosplay is not the easiest or cheapest hobby on this planet ;)
I hope you will like my work! If you would like to see more of my costumes you can follow my DeviantArt

I really hope you enjoy =) Lots of hugs and kisses to all of you!
Cosplay 1
Character: The Snow - Clow Card
Series name: Card Captor Sakura
Description: With this costume I did a mix between the version in the anime and the original artwork on the Clow Card. It was not that hard to sew, it is a normal Yukata only with laaarge sleeves as you can see. What was really hard with this costume was the wig styling, the make-up and the posing. The Snow is not really a “character” so it was a bit hard to impersonate only an element. But I am really happy how it turned out in the end!

Cosplay 2
Character: Lucifer (Pride)
Series: Umineko no Naku koro ni
Description: This is one of the most difficult costumes I ever sewed! I needed weeks to finish this, because it was so hard to find the right proportions for the costume. And the sewing part was not that easy either, because I lined everything. I am really really proud how it turned out in the end and I so loved to wear this costume (especially together with an awesome cosplaygroup!). I put a lot of effort in my make-up too, because I wanted to get this kinda devilish look.

Cosplay 3
Character: Moka Akashiya
Series: Rosario to Vampire
Description: Moka is one of my big crushes concerning anime characters! And so is the whole series. It is absolutely hilarious and I so enjoyed watching! I put a lot of effort into my Rosario and the skirt. I painted the golden lines on the skirt with a pencil... silly work! ;) I loved the shootings with this costume and I felt very comfortable with being Moka for a few hours. That makes it very special for me.
