Comments: This cosplay was drafted and sewn by my spouse and cosplay partner, nekomatalee, the Gaara in this competition! The headband was purchased, destroyed, and attached to the hat. The scroll backpack was handcrafted by me from a variety of materials including paper towel rolls, thick craft paper, pieces of foam, and acrylic paint. Sasori and Kankuro, the puppet masters of Suna, and some of my favourites from the series so when Lee wanted to do Gaara I volunteered to be his ‘brother’!
