Kasemei : Rarity Original Design from My Little Pony Cosplay

Series Name: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Comments: I’ve always been into fashion and when I saw MLP I fell in LOVE with Rarity! I wanted to do her justice and decided to go with a super fashionable route, putting in three different skirts that I made into the cosplay. The bottom layer is a gathered white chiffon skirt. The middle skirt is made out of white and purple tulle to give it some poof and flare. The top skirt is a white patterned satin skirt where I embroidered Rarity’s triple diamond cutie mark onto. The shirt was one from my wardrobe because I didn’t finish it in time for Anime Central but I made a fully reversible cape with the white patterned satin and some purple satin to give it a little additional pop and a more equestrian look. Lastly, I picked a purple wig with a ponytail clipon extension (because pony and ponytail, hahaha…) and used a fun white hairpiece to match!
