Usopp, fast-talking sharp-shooter of the Strawhat Pirates!

He’s my  favourite One Piece character so I was determined to do his highly-animated expressions justice. I truly enjoyed strutting around in this guy’s boots!

I’m a novice cosplayer, so I relied on simple methods to bring this colourful, eccentric outfit together. His helmet was lots of fun, and Kabuto (the slingshot) was probably the fiddliest part, taking plenty of wire, elastic,  reticulation piping, hot-glue,  spray-paint, ingenuity and perseverance to get it all done. The nose was challenging … and a little painful! Oh, and yes: the rest is just me and make-up. :)
