A Little About Me
First of all: Wow! Thank you so much to everyone that has voted for me. It's amazing to receive support for my first handmade cosplay. You've made this possible!
I'd also like to give a shoutout to other talented cosplayers from Puerto Rico. To my supportive (and at times confused) family, friends and my soul mate. To all of you I say: Villains can succeed!
Creating Zant was such an exciting learning experience, so this is definitenly not the last you'll see from me. It's such a huge honor that my first Cosplay creation has made it to the Finals. Now let us dance and twirl with pride! (And hopefully scare Link in the process) <3 Jule
Cosplay 1
Character: Zant, the Usurper King of Twilight
Series: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Description: Zant has spotted Link and he's about to jump and strike him from above! One of my favorite parts of sporting Zant at a Con is the fact some people act really surprised when they hear my girly voice. Also, some people call me "Mini Zant" or "Pocket Zant" since I'm not the tallest of Kings.

Cosplay 2
Character: Zant, the Usurper King of Twilight
Series: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Description: I chose the open helmet version because the first glimpse we get from Zant's true face is his mouth. To me, this was a pretty shocking moment, because there's actually someone under all that armor. And since this is a Con cosplay, the open mouth allowed me to talk and be heard, drink water and smile at the excited (or scared) kids and Zelda fans. It's important for me to let them know I'm happy to take pictures with them.

Photo #3
Cosplay 3
Character: Zant, the Usurper King of Twilight
Series: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Description: Commencing frantic slashing! Why don't you stop using your shield and let me slice you to bits? I've found that my favorite part about creating the costume was the armor making. There's so much detail in Zant's design! But I can't forget about his clothing. Those long floppy sleeves are fun to flail around while dancing to the Malo Mart song!
