Alissa Butzow: Batgirl from Batman: The Animated Series Cosplay

Comments: I have been a huge fan of Barbara Gordon/Batgirl as a character for a good portion of my life. Her run as Batgirl in Batman: The Animated Series (and later in The New Batman Adventures, which this is more based out of) left a huge impression on me as a person, though I am also a fan of her as both Batgirl and  Oracle in the comics. For this cosplay, I hand-sewed the gloves from scratch for four days straight, and I love how they came out the most. Picture was taken at Anime Overload in Austin, and I plan to wear her to as many conventions in the future as possible!
