I had been interested in cosplay since high school, but did not begin seriously cosplaying until a little over a year ago. This is my fifth cosplay, and was the most time consuming to create. The top and skirt were both made from a low-shine satin, and the gold elements from gold stretch vinyl. The hearts were originally clear Christmas ornaments, which I painted and weighted down with clay. I chose a more stylized look when creating this cosplay in order to be as true to the character design as possible. Panty’s weapon, Backlace, was made from wood, foam and clay. This cosplay was incredibly fun to wear and pose in!
