Avalon Cosplay: Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony Cosplay

Comments: This is my beloved RD cosplay, and though it is still in the preliminary stage, I wanted to share what I have. Though Rainbow is athletic, she has a punk side, too, and I wanted to show that. I mostly bought and put together several pieces from online and my own wardrobe, such as the Converse, jacket, and shorts being from my own clothes, and buying the vest, belt, and socks from eBay. My creativity came into it in the form of my Hermes-style wings, which I made from stiffened and starched felt, and my wig, which I hand-colored with Sharpie markers in 7 colors. That alone took 10 hours. I know this isn’t finished, but I was too proud of what I have not to share it.
