A Little About Me

I think cosplaying is about being able to be someone else, a character you love for a whole day.Althought this is a reason for perfection, there is also a little space for you to put your touch in it and be different from everyone who cosplays the same character. I also strive to cosplay any character I love even though there is not many thematical conventions in my country, I still show love for the characters, and well have fun! Cosplay 1

Character: Queen Chrysalis

Description : Chrysalis is a changeling Pony that attempts to control Canterlot by disguising as the bride of the biggest Pony wedding there has been and making the groom hers as he posses large magical powers that protect the city. She intends to weaken his protection spell to invade it with her army of Changelings. I made the horn and ears using styrofoam as it is a very light material, however, the horn was so big that I had some trouble adjusting it and keeping it on place. I also tried to picture the holes she has on her hooves on the costume, which I designed myself to look like the perfect Queen changeling Villain she is. The picture intends to portrait the commander of her army and the brave character she has. I've never cosplayed a villain before, so it was a challenge to act like a somewhat sexy villain that also posses an army and makes herself respected.

Character: Hatsune Miku

Description: On this song, Miku is portrayed as a kind of selfish but cute character who demands to be tried as a princess by her date. This picture displays Miku waiting while looking a bit bored when waiting. She demands of him to not make her wait as she is his "important princess", it also shows the contrast of her dolling up for him to look at her when he appears. Truly selfish, but still caring. Sometimes we girls would like to be treated as princess by our important person, even if we are the selfish type. It was difficult to find the exact ornaments she had on the figure and to modify the dress as the most exact replica to the figure. Also I used a small crown that represents Miku's feelings on some fan arts to add importance to "her majesty" Miku. I must add that all the ornaments and the assembling of the accesories on my head took some time as it was also heavy thanks to the wig. I had fun running around looking for some Kaito cosplayers, event hough I also chose to bring a kaito plushie with me.

Character: Octavia Melody

Description: Octavia is a background ponmy form the series tha is famous for playing the Cello and perhaps other string instruments as she looks elegant everytime she is playing on a Pony celebration. Here, I use a Violin that also matches the colors of the scenery used in this picture. I had to style the wig in a night because the retailer sent me one that was curly. Also, the Violin had to travel with my friend as he lives far from the event. All in all, it was very fun to be Octavia for a day. To be as smart, elegant as talented as her.
