WitchOfSpace102: Madoka Kaname from Puella Magi Madoka Magica Cosplay

Comments: This is one of my favourite costumes I have made so far. The skirt was make of 4 circle skirts sewn together and ruffled at the bottom to make a “cupcake” shape. I have 4 ruffled layers of tulle and ruffled white ribbon under the skirt also with a huge petticoat. The bodice part was all patterned by myself. The pettle shaps have a gradient effect that goes a darker pink on top to a white bottom. The soul gem was found at a local craft shop then used Sculpy to mold the gem shape. I used Spirit gum to attach it to my skin. The bows are self explanatory really. Lot of hand ruffling was involved since my ruffle foot kicked the bucket during this project. Total construction took about a month.
