A Little About Me

Raised in Antigonish, and residing in Halifax I am a Theater Student at Dalhousie University and a Makeup artist/hairstylist. I have been attending conventions and costuming since 2008 but only within the past two years have I considered Cosplay to be a serious hobby. I have cosplayed from a variety of series and games over the past two years alone. I am a part of a fantastic cosplay team: Usagi Cosplay here in Halifax and I am very happy to represent Nova Scotia as the first and only finalist from this fantastic province! While my entries may be simple, I need to thank everyone who voted for me and especially Melissa Mullins of Melissa Mullins Photography, Marsha Reid of Anime@Large and Jacob Grady of FAKKU.net for their support! Description: This is my favorite photo and this is my favorite character to cosplay! It made me feel so confident to have the photo turn out as well as It did. I snagged the shirt from the Fakku store, the leggings from ebay and I made the panties and hair pieces. The wig is from my teams wig shop!

Description: Lisa Lisa is pure awesome. This was an awesome adventure down to a terrifying and rusty old Yacht to get this photo. It was the only one we managed to take but for the courage it took both me and my photographer to get down there I think it should be here!

Description: JoJo is the greatest series in the whole world. Sadly, there are not too many female characters too choose from but I adore this character so much. She reminds me a lot of myself when I was a teenager and we even have the same music tastes. This is her simpler outfit which she wears in my favorite scene. Her dress is made from Fleece and so is the hat. The buttons have little teddy bears on them. It took me aprox.2 hours to make.
