A Little About Me
Hi! My name is Ashley, I'm 23 years old and I have been interested in creating costumes since I was very young. When I was a little girl I used to make outfits out of paper and tape. They were not very pretty but we all have to start somewhere! Cosplay has been a HUGE part of my life for years now and I have no doubts that I will still be doing it when I'm a little old lady.It so excited to be in the finals! Thanks so much to everyone who voted for me in the qualifiers! If you would like to see more of my costumes you can check them out here on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/RingoChuCosplay
Cosplay 1
Character: Fluttershy
Series Name: My Little Pony
|
Description: Since I had the bunny and I love fluttershy I just had to do this! The dress is made out of satin with some puffy paint details. I made the ears out of oven bake clay and the wings out of craft foam. I put puffy paint around the wings, flowers, and butterflies to try to match the appearance of the lines in the shows animation. I wanted to give it an elegant but cartoony look.

Cosplay 2
Character: Anna
Series Name: Disney's Frozen
|
Description: As soon as I saw Anna's design in the concept art for Frozen I knew I had to cosplay as her! The details on the cape and skirt are painted on and the details on the bodice are hand embroidered. Some small things about the costume turned out being inaccurate because I based the costume on a few pieces of concept art instead of waiting for the film to be released. Thats what I get for being so impatient! Olaf is made out of carved insulation foam and is coated with glitter so he glistens like real snow!

Cosplay 3
Character: Rapunzel
Series Name: Disney's Tangled
|
Description: Rapunzel was the first costume I did that required alot of detail work. Even though I've learned alot since then I am still really proud of how it turned out. The designs on the middle panel of the skirt and the bodice are hand painted and the details all the way around the skirt were embroidered by hand. The wig was really fun to construct and style. I think no matter how many costumes I make this will always be my favorite.
