A Little About Me

Hey all! I'm Joey (Private_Kaisser) and I am an 18 year old from Maryland, USA. All costumes listed were completely made by me (no store bought parts).

I've been cosplaying videogames such as Assassins Creed, Final Fantasy, and Devil May Cry since middle school, and I've made a bunch of props including the Kamina Giga Drill (Gurren Lagann), about 5 different hidden blade models (Assassins Creed), and a life-size Wheatley puppet (Portal 2).

Cosplay 1

Description: This was my very first cosplay project that I spent a lot of time on making. Altogether this cosplay was made over the course of 2 years by hand (since I’m too poor/cheap for a sewing machine xD). It’s based off of various armor pieces available in Assassin’s Creed 2 and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, primarily the Master Assassin armor set. The armor is plated out super sculpey cast in resin and wrapped craft foam. The Apple of Eden is hand painted plastic casing with EL wire wrapped inside of it. My hidden blades (shown in the Vote for Me video) are made from metal sliders and PVC/sculpey/kinex.

Description: I nearly choked on my cereal when I heard that a third assassin had debuted. At that moment it was my goal to finish the costume for the new game before it was released so I could wear it to Gamestop at its release. Connor was a lot of fun to make because his armor, unlike Ezio’s which is ornate and detailed, is rugged and tribal, calling for completely different techniques and fabrics. I made this costume in about 2 months, but I probably put in the same number of hours as I did with Ezio. The cloak/hood are heavy cotton, the bracers and leggings are all cowhide leather, the tomahawk is made from resin and wood wrapped in various fabrics, the pistol is actually a resin copy of a toy that I detailed, the arrows are wood shafts and turkey feathers, and the bow is smoothed wood wrapped in leather and fur.
