This was made with around 28 yards of fabric. The skirt is 7 layers total. The bottom layer is a full skirt, three layers on top for the front (hand sewn as well as hand pleated for the gold trim); three more layers on top of that in the back. In the back there are two “wings” (as I call them) lined and laying on top of the skirt. The bodice has boning in it as well as feathers and rope. The crown was made out of craft foam painted and sculpted. I love the series and love the character!
